The Ditec Battery Backup Kit for NEOS400/600/1000 Motors is fitted inside the gate motor to provide backup power for the gate motor in the event that power is interrupted. The battery backup system will generally provide a minimum 15-20 operations, however this dependant on the weight and length of the gate.
The battery system is designed as a convenience to keep the gate operational in the event of a power failure and will only operate only when the mains power has gone off. When the mains power is restored, the batteries will recharge.
