Square Steel Posts are purpose-built as the support for fencing panels and the mounting point for gate installations, to provide a strong foundation for your fence line. Made from premium galvanised steel, these posts provide excellent durability and resistance to corrosion, making them ideal for long-term outdoor use.
With a neat square profile, they pair perfectly with a variety of fence panel styles and gate types. Available in multiple sizes and powder-coated in the complete range of Colorbond® fencing finishes, square steel posts can be cemented into the ground for a clean, professional look.
How deep should your post go?

To determine the correct post size, add the height of your fence plus the depth into the ground. For example, an 1800mm high fence in clay soil would be a 2400mm (2.4m) post.
When purchasing fence posts, don't forget to include post caps (sold separately) for the top of each post to stop rainwater/debris intrusion to the inside of the post which will cause corrosion/rust.
